I found this on my Sister in laws blog this morning and knew I had to post it to mine. I have been working on something that goes along with this. I'm not sure when I will post it, I am still praying over it and trying to make sure my words line up with God's words. The truth.

Yeah I have a few choice words for Oprah. But cannot say them as I am a minister. But I will say that her message comes form the secret... (seen it, and actually felt it had a lot of good points... too bad they deny God and drown all their 'good points' out with a bunch of talk about being their own god). This is the old 'New Age' message repackaged. This time the package is very attractive and a lot of heavy hitters are behind it. The sad thing is that much of the hype is within the confines of God's Biblical law as well as natural law, but when you replace God with You, it doesn't matter how much truth there is too it.
The video made some very good points that shows why we should not believe in this or even dabble in it. The very sad thing is that the choice statements made (in the video) are mixed in with a lot of truth that people see as truth. Thus, people do not see the lie. Satan always uses just enough truth to hook us.
When she said that she took God out of the box, I thought good! But then she said that she could not believe that God could be Jealous. Now I am thinking, you stupid (choice words). She doesn't understand that God is not jealous about us... He is jealous for us. What good father wouldn't be.
Personally, I do not believe that she even believes what she said about the jealous thing. She just said it because it is a word that can be twisted to make us think that she had found a flaw in the Word of God. She is not as dumb as we think or she wouldn't be who she is. She chose that word because only strong Christians understand the kind of jealousy God has for us. Only Christians understand that kind of love.
By the way the guy on with her has many cds and books (some of which I have and have listened to and read). He is no doubt acting as a strong ambassador to the New Age movement, much like Oprahs other guests that often come on to talk about spiritual things. But this guy is a Hindu. All of his publications say as much. And most of the New Age movement is line up with Hindu thought.
The saddest thing that I have found is that after Oprah had her string of guests on about the movie and book The Secret, many Christians started to follow after this way of thinking. She has a following and mankind are a bunch of dumb sheep.
That is exactly why we Christians have to STAND UP for what we believe in. Oprah is powerful and reaches many, but there is no higher power than God's. I too made the statement that God is jealous for her and not OF her. There is a verse that says it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich person to get to Heaven.
